John, of course his first post was disruptive. The board is to discuss EDIG, not vent on how unfair he thinks he's been treated in the past. At a minimum, that should be posted on the off topic board. Because he's your friend, you're not being objective.

I agree there are probably many posts from other members that have broken Agora's rules. However, I am one of TWENTY-FIVE Hub Leaders here and don't have time to report every violation. I contribute my time by checking PACER at least a dozen times daily and on weekends. I also contribute my time by doing DD and sharing it with the board, took a vacation day to attend the Markman Hearing and spent another 6-8 hours writing a 10-page Markman report. I depend on my fellow HL's to help out. But when a known disrupter returns for the umpteenth time, with an obvious chip on his shoulder, and immediately starts dredging up the past with his very first post...that gets my attention.

I'll make a deal with you. If Agoracom feels I've abused my HL authority, they can remove me as HL and I'll never be heard from again. I'll leave the board permanently, hopefully having added something to it over the years. Short of that, you're stuck with me.
