TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 14, 2009) - Exile Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ERI) ("Exile" or the "Company") today announced that Mr. John Orange has been appointed to the Company's board of directors as of January 1st 2009. Mr. Orange is a former chief executive, principally with the BP Group, having spent 29 years with BP working around the world. Educated in Dublin, he obtained his BA (Law) degree from Trinity College in 1965 and is a barrister who has specialized in energy resources throughout his career. Mr. Orange is a past President of the UK Petroleum Industry Association (1993-1995) and a Fellow of the Energy Institute. His board experience includes a number of directorships. Mr. Orange currently is a Senior Non Executive Director on the board of Premier Oil PLC, where he serves as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, member of the Audit Committee and member of the Nomination Committee. Exile has granted Mr. Orange 250,000 options of the Company at an exercise price of $0.13 per share expiring on January 12, 2014.
