.....recently I posted about OSISKO being considered a big brother to GBB.

So here are a few relevant points for comparison. These facts about OSK were taken from their 2008 feasibility report on the Malartic Property.

There has been an update since but these are still pertinent for comparison purposes.

Proven & prob.reserves............6.28M ozs.....grade 1.07g/t + 784oz of Ag

Indicated reserves.....................1.4M ozs.......grade 0.81g/t

Inferred reserves.......................2.75M ozs ( incl. Barnat deposit)...grade 0.60g/t

Max. open pit depth...................375m

Production /year(Avg).................591,000 oz/yr of Au + 754,000oz/yr of Ag

Mine life.......................................10 years (nominal)

Operating costs...........................$319us /oz (after royalties and silver credits)

Strip ratio.....................................1.78 (waste/ore)

Mill feed (nominal)........................55,000t/d

Initial ann mining rate..................51Mt (142.5 kt/d) for 1st year

Increased to................................. 64Mt (178.8kt/d) for next 4 years

Final Pit........................................2000m along strike - 920m wide - 380m deep

Total mined from pit.....................510Mt

These will be useful to gauge the prospects and progress of GBB as the mine develops so everyone can continue to do their own DD.
