GOLD BULLION DEVELOPMENT CORP. APPOINTS BRIAN E. ROBERTSON TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Gold Bullion Development Corp. has appointed Brian E. Robertson, PEng, to its board of directors.
Mr. Robertson has served as an Officer or General Manager of several mining companies (Placer Dome Inc., Royal Oak Mines Inc., North American Palladium Ltd., Nuinsco Resources Ltd. and Victory Nickel Inc.) and brings more than 35 years of extensive operations' experience in both large scale open-pit and underground mines in Canada and offshore. He has served as General Manager for the construction and operation of the 50,000 tpd Kemess open-pit mine located in British Columbia. He was also General Manager at other large scale open-pit mining operations including Placer Dome's 10,000 tpd Equity Silver mine and North American Palladium's 15,000 tpd Lac des Iles mine. As president of Victory Nickel, he identified the open-pit potential of the Minago deposit and directed the project through all stages of development from drilling to feasibility. Mr. Robertson is currently President and CEO of Source Exploration Corp. and a director of Appia Energy Corp., Romios Gold Resources Inc. and Ursa Major International Inc. He is also a member of The Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the University of Alaska and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Laurentian University.
