So far in 2015, three trenches have been completed in the area covering the smallest proposed pit located furthest west with channel sampling from the middle trench, TR15-11, returning 6.05 g/t Au over 8 m including 14.98 g/t Au over 3 m.
From GBB's June 1 news release:
Landdrill’s first rig has completed 11 holes (2400 metres) of a planned 20,000 metre Phase 2 program and is now headed outside the Preliminary Block Model to the LONG Bars Zone northeast discovery area near Phase 1 GR-10-17, the easternmost hole drilled to date by Gold Bullion. Drilling will progress east of GR-10-17 as GENIVAR, the Company’s geological consultant, tests a number of auriferous structures contained within a wide, east-west trending zone of shearing, alteration and quartz veining. They started drilling May 3rd on above paragraph, so if we use an average of 2400 metres divided by 30 days = 80 metres/day. This was infill drilling to define structure. From GBB's July 13th news release:
Drilling is gradually pushing east of GR-10-17 as GENIVAR, Gold Bullion’s geological consultant, continues to test a number of auriferous structures contained within a wide, east-west trending zone of shearing, alteration and quartz veining. In a significant development, GENIVAR has planned a deep hole (365 metres vertical depth) 176 metres east-southeast of GR-10-17. Drilling of this target, which would be the deepest hole drilled so far by Gold Bullion at Granada, is expected to commence within the next day or two and is designed to confirm an extension of altered zones that have been discovered in other Phase 2 holes 75 metres to the northwest and southwest, respectively.
So if we use a model of 365 metres--1168 feet for the older generation--that would be 365 metres divided by 80 metres =4.56 days, however let's give it a little more time for miscellaneous situations: geological formations, repairs, murphy's law, the Beaufort Factor, etc.
In my opinion it could take 7-8 days to drill this vertical hole to a depth of 365 metres.
The key here is, from the above paragraph is, when do Genivar start the deep hole?
If GBB does hit mineralization thru this depth, I do believe they could halt the stock because this would be hugh news and a significant material change for the company.
In my opinion we should have news sometime next week or by the end of July. We all have to understand that there are many mining companies drilling at this time of year and assay labs are backed up right across the country.
If you are a "true believer in GBB" in the long term---what is the difference in a few weeks waiting for results. When they do start rolling in we will assays coming out every few weeks for the next 3 years...!!!
When we retire--we will all have the time you need to do the things you want to do in life...!!!
