Your order was possibly filled on a different trading network. Like, say, Alpha instead of the TSXV (or whatever).

Whatever the ending price was on the TSXV is not necessarily the price that was available on Alpha.

The same sort of thing happened to me with BMO a few months back.

Moral: Don't use market orders.
