DETOUR GOLD ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

Detour Gold Corp.'s nominees listed in the management information circular dated March 31, 2014, for the 2014 annual meeting of shareholders held on May 1, 2014, were elected as directors of the company. The detailed results of the vote for the election of directors are set out in the attached table.
