What makes me nervous is when a stock has so much potential value, that sharks and the wheeler-dealers look for ways to steal the bacon. Hopefully minor stockholders will be protected in any going private arrangement.

Other than the recent swoon in commodity futures and hedge funds trying to rebuild balance sheets, what are the other possible pitfalls?

Maybe this investment, for some, is too tong - term in this freaky fiscal environment?

Some negative possibilities (including conspiracy theories):

1. Environmental permitting - any history of environmental opposition?

2. Isn't the north coast pretty arid? - is there adequate available water?

3. Political machinations :e.g. Competitors casting roadblocks

I know the herd instinct of the market, but who in the heck would sell this stock at $!.30?

I sure would like some ideas on these areas
