An Executive Chairman of the Board does not necessarily have to invest a lot of time in the company that he is serving, so this may not have any affect on his stewardship of LGDI at all.
However, there are rumors of their interest in selling the company, and also of Potash or Mosaic looking for acquisitions. Either of those companies would make for an interesting buy out.
What is troubling me is the question about who is selling the stock at these ridiculously low prices every day, and when will these short sighted people run out of shares to sell. When the stock is doing half a million shares a day, and the big boys are holding on to their shares, how long will it take for the price to start to rise? I would have expected the stock to be back in the $2.00 range by now.
Maybe the post election enthusiasm will put the economy back on the upswing. We can only hope.
