IFFCO filed a 13D showing they own 45,399,500 shares or 18.7% of Legend.
However, it does NOT include last weeks purchase of 5.9 million shares as the date on the filing is Sept.4,2009.
The 45 million shares include options that have not yet been exercised. They have 17 million options for shares that are exerciseable at prices of $3.50 share and $4.00 share that must be exercised between January 2010 and July 2010. (The 8 million options that they had at an exercise price of $3.00 expired on July 14 because they didn't exercise them.) Unless the share price increases dramtically by January, they probably won't exercise those other options either.
Either way, more important is their open market purchases which effectively put a 60cents/share floor in the stock. Hopefully now that it seems like they cleaned out a big seller, they raise their bid price continually upwards and continue buying.
