I also think it looks promising. Although it seems very redundant to purchase private equity in NCRC while also owning equity in Legend so it doesn't make sense to me. Golden River (NCR owns equity) is available over the counter under GORV. I bought some a few months ago so personally I already have too much redundancy.

I like the approach of purchasing shares in all these diamond/platinum/gold mining companies while they're at extreme lows with gold making new highs. Its rare when the entire group of guru investors all agree on the future value of precious metals/mining:

-George Soros recently said dollar has to lose value & is bullish on future grown of india & china, of course also owns stake in Legend

-We all know John Paulson bought over a quarter of his portfolio (can't remember exactly how much) of gold back in march & june, one of the earliest bigshots to get on board

-David Einhorn bought the equivalent of a small country's reserve 2-3 months ago and is stashing it somewhere in hiding

-Paul Tudor Jones said in his last letter to investors that the time for gold is now

-Druckenmiller (old partner with soros) is so bullish that in his last letter to investors about month and a half ago, he dedicated half his letter to explaining why he so excited about the future value, with charts & statistics

-Jim Rogers (old soros partner) is also....well, I don't have to go on, he's a broken record on agriculture and gold/silver and has been saying the same thing for the last decade

These are pretty much the only opinions I listen closely to since they risk everything they have on their opinions with long term positive record. Meawhile all the other hedge funds are going to copy their moves, followed by mutual funds and institutions getting on board. Its rare that they all agree on the same thing...and so strongly. Usually one is shorting Lehman (einhorn) while another one (soros) is buying it. (Einhorn 1 - Soros 0!)

So the tide is likely in our favor. The only big fear I have with Legend is that they keep pushing out the extraction date quarter after quarter with positive spin on richer resources elsewhere. I was also disapointed that I didn't see expenses related to equipment.

Appologies for the rambling long message & slight off topic content.
