I see last week there were widspread protests in India over increases in the price of food. While personally this makes me sad, I wonder if the answer is not more agricultural production using all the modern methods including fertilisers.

I don't want to profit from a poor nations' problems. Hopefully we can profit from what might be part of a solution for them.
