Good point. The way I like to think of it....George Soros (arguably The most successful investor ever) gave a vote of confidence to Mr. Gutnick by buying into not 1, but 2 of his companies: Legend & Sphere. Sphere (also mining) is listed in Australia and has similar chart as LGDI. Tim B., another legendary investor, gave a vote of confidence by also buying into 2 of his companies (Legend & NADL). India & China also gave a vote of confidence, India on two companies. So for the company to be a scam, it would have to be the scam of the century.

Looking over all hedge funds SEC filings as they poured in last couple weeks, they all gave a vote of confidence for the value of agriculture and mining. Soros' biggest investment is mining/agriculture. So is Stanley Druckenmiller's, David Einhorn's, so is John Paulson's (more mining/gold). So is Warren Buffett's if you consider that the future of Burlington (train transport) is directly dependent on transport of energy & agriculture. (On an off-topic note, there doesn't seem to be one hedge fund that didn't buy over $100M or more in Citigroup....its seriously weird I don't know what to make of it.)

I think the key is can they deliver on the expectations and in a reasonably timlely manner. You're right, its better than releasing fluff just to artificially inflate the price. But we do need updates every few months. Management also responded to one of my questions the same day (a few months ago I misinterpreted an SEC filing and thought a shareholder was selling).

ps....What email did you send last week. Can you share with the board?
