I don't know if they would or not. I'm sure there are other properties in Austrailia that are majority owned by foreign Companies. Unless there is some stipulation that this cannot be done. Why couldn't LGDI sell the rights to mine the property to a Mosaic or for that matter why Mosaic couldn't buy a majority stake of LGDI stock to in essence have majority control? I wouldn't be surprised if Joe G. did a deal with a larger player.

This may be his retirement too and he's no spring chicken anymore. He may want to do a deal in the next year or two while he can still enjoy some of the money.
