One interesting thing about Soros' portfolio....He held about $300 million worth of POT through 2007, 2008 and 2009. He even doubled down right after the huge crash in commodities in late 2008. Then, I think at the very end of 2009 or early 2010, he got rid of all his POT shares -most likely because they didn't move at all for such a long time- and traded them in for an equal $300 million worth of MON. So he missed out on the nearly 40% POT windfall last week. That would have been a $120 million profit! I also missed out, I sold POT too thinking he must know something I don't.

Thats why I'm reluctant to trade shares of Legend. Prices always seem to explode just after you lose hope and sell. This POT bid revealed that insiders value agricultural assets much higher than market prices.
