At the end of the day we ALL want the price of our shares to go higher. J.G. is no different and it's only logical that he sell the phosphate assets when the demand and price are high for DAP. That's business 101. I would expect there to be some sort of bidding war for these assets for the reasons we're all aware of.
What is less clear is if there is a deal struck for the phosphate assets to a foreign company/country how will this be viewed by the Austrailian government? We won't be in a situation like what happened with Potash from Canada? I think that's what Canada said about the Potash sale. That is was a national securtiy issue and therefore couldn't be done. I wonder if the Aussie gov. might not try and do the same thing to LGDI?
The share price seems to be perking up. We're up a nickel to .94 as I post.
