Actually, too bad the floods didn't impact the LGDI mines. It could have saved us $800 million. Who needs plants? We could have gotten the phosphate rock beneficiated via floatation for free. Just sprinkle some ferrosilicon on the flood water, wait, and then skim the high grade phosphate off the surface.
Seriously though, as long as we can avoid this for another few weeks we should be in the clear. This should boost phosphate prices...although hopefully the benefit doesn't go to our cometitors abroad. I'm glad the share price stabilized. As long as we avoid closing below .85, the nice & steady up trend since summer 2010 still holds:
