Soros invests his money all over the place and does not always win. This is a speculative lottery ticket play. If it happens to come to fruition he stands to make a decent amount. You also don't see the deep pocket players stepping up and putting in more capital to get this project rolling. That should raise a few questions.
Gutnick is paying himself that salary for one reason only. He can liquidiate his holding without actuall selling shares. If he was selling, everyone else would as well. Then what????? he wouldn't be able to issue new shares to fund the operations. This is a speculative lottery ticket play for him as well.
He was lucky to secure Atticus as an investor several years back. A position that Attara ultimately inherited from Atticus at what price? Or discount? T Barakett is no idiot, but things have changed quite a bit since then and you wonder if he would still be holding the position.
This is not the only place to mine phosphate. Nor the largest reserve. While politically it may be the safest, securing $1B to build the plant is going to be tough. Phosphate is not as rare as some claim. It is simply in areas that are unstable.
Tree shaking by who? None of the insiders or heavy hitters have increased there positions at all. Every shareholder should be concered that the deep pockets hear have lost faith in Gutnick and his team and are waiting to pounce at bottom dollar and take the whole company. $0.05 x Gutnicks 80 million shares should be enough for him to start his next scam.
