The phosphate deposits are too big, and too close to civilization to be ignored.

I truly believe that the raw rock can start moving sometime this year, and keep the lights on for the company.

Even the Gutnicks will be able to sell and move raw rock!

The bigger deal may piggyback on the movement of rock, as once there is money flowing into the company, negotiations and terms will be easier to reach agreement upon, even for the Gutnicks.
