8 Suitability of the project

EHP has considered the submitted EIS, all submissions and the EP Act standard criteria. The project is assessed as being suitable on the basis of the Environmental Management Plan being completed and any subsequent Environmental Authority, being conditioned suitably to implement the specific environmental protection commitments set out in the EIS and as described in this report. Consequently, the project is considered suitable to
proceed to the next stage of the approval process noting that the recommendations of this EIS assessment report should be fully implemented
