The action wasn't any different than it has been in the last week or two. Tick up by 2 pennies, tick down by two pennies.
If you were watching all day (I'm pretty much stuck at my desk for other reasons) you would have seen that there was no volume after the release for a few hours, and it seemed to settle at .16 then close down on a very small trade.
Also, it is, in fact, very important that volume is thin. The 3 month average is about 100k shares. At today's price that's only 15,000 dollars per day. This is nothing. Some people spend that on lattes in a year (Ok, exaggeration). If buyers wanted to take significant positions there wouldn't be room at this level and the stock would be forced much higher. This is of course only with solid results or a newsletter recommendation.
Look at what happened to Hathor recently in late February early March (if only we hit a drill core like they did!). Similar situation, sinking price on no volume because the market priced in risk only and not reward. The short sharp correction upward shows that the stock had been largely forgotten and its potential along with it.
Same is true for Alberta Star in the Summer of 05.
Same is true for Ditem in November of 06
I could go on. The point I'm making is that the extremely low volume is a setup for a very, very sharp correction upward should anything at all go right.
Holding the new level is another story. Hitting uranium is still a dream.
