I think you have it better than Kiplinger!

So many have a "blind spot" to metals. As if they are something that can be easily made or imported from "over there".

At some point demand may overpower scarce supply. I suspect that after energy problems are better controlled, then metals will come to the front of the list as countries consume the energy in order to transform their standard of living.
