Gold mining stocks, seniors and juniors, have been up almost daily since the end of May. As one oberserver I quoted here a few days ago postulated at the time, the summer rally seems to have started early.

Base metals, however, are not doing as well, and cooper is fighting to stay above 3 bucks.
