There are a few differences here between what I was expecting, and what is announced.
1) There are multiple parties with continuing interest in the proposal. The resulting competition puts us in an enviable position.
2) All who heard the presentations continue seeking furthing information.
3) A JV proposal or proposals coming from these meetings may or may not include the "Mine Finders" program. Doing without the Mine Finders, I think, may get a JV off the ground sooner.
This summary is, of course, good news, and means that the process is continuing with much stronger interest than those of us on this side of the pond could have anticipated.
The icing on the cake would be a partner willing to add a cash infusion. Without that, the company is left witout cash for operations outside of the JV.
...just checked trading. The market is underwhelmed, suggesting to me that too many were expecting too much too soon. Having said that, I will be looking forward to third party comments coming from analysts and newsletter writers. If that happens, it could be a short term game changer, IMO.
