Uranium prices were flat again at the most recent auction. That marks about 4 months of essentially flat prices. In all the years I've been in this sector, I don't recall such an extended period of flat uranium prices.
Seems as if the only direction is up from here, especially given improving economic conditions, and Japan putting nuclear reactors back on line.
Still, I think uranium would have to be some dollars per pound higher than now to provoke interest from anyone wanting to JV at NPSP. That could change virtually overnight, though. Back in '07, prices between auctions moved by 10s of dollars.
