Thank you for the extra info, risingstar. I am still learning some of the ins and outs of the financial agreements that take place. So, if I understand you and other correctly, it is one or both of these companies that you mentioned that are selling off their shares. This brings up 2 questions that I hope someone can answer:
1) Do these financiers have access to information due to their status as lenders that other shareholders don't have? I doubt it, but just making sure.
2) Were these shares the only thing they got in return? They don't have any further leverage over LBSR, correct?
To some, these questions may seem "Duh!", I'm sure. :) Please remember that some of these details are a little alien to me, and some of you may be much better informed than I.
As with you, risingstar, I am confounded as to why people that would seem to live in the investment world would shoot themselves in the foot right now. There must be something more to it that I don't understand, since these ought to be people that wouldn't be so susceptible to silly panic spells. I don't know a lot about shorting the market and have never played that game, but it makes me wonder if this is what is going on.
