Your explanation actually makes very good sense. I had completely forgotten that they had gotten shares at significantly below market price. That means they actually are making money by selling. Still, it would have made more sense for them to hold on, as they could have made a killing coming soon.

As to your other point about being delayed on a news release, I tend to agree with VP on that. Either they are waiting on the lawyer to ok the release or there is something happening. If I had the choice of a "no news" news release or waiting an extra several days to see if something of great substance could be put on that is pending, I think I would wait to release it too. It is speculation, but it does have that feel to me.
