Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
Look again at what the PR says.
"One that we have extensive data on is for high grade silver and gold near surface mineralization right here in Arizona, that with recently available mining equipment and exploration technology we can move forward relatively quickly and believe we can be mining within a year or less."
This does not tell you how advanced that property may be, nor whether or not the permitting process is underway, or for how long, or even if permits may be in hand right now. It also does not offer from what point the "within a year or less" begins to be measured. Is it from the date of the PR, from the date of the shareholder meeting, from the time a deal is consumated with some possible other party following the shareholder meeting. Note that it isn't even clear where the property is, and to my reading there is some implication that it is not presently a claim controlled by LBSR.
More critically, Philosphy 101 tells you that "...we can move forward relatively quickly...", does not mean "...we WILL move forward relatively quickly...". Similarly, "can be mining within a year or less" is not a promise to do so.
The PR includes the best estimates of management and are not dissimilar to statements you can find in forward looking statements put out by about any exploration mining company, and it's all too easy to find fault in these.
What it boils down to is, you either trust management, or your don't.
Meanwhile, you can take your questions directly to management via this Web site, or wait for details coming out of the meeting in mid July. If that's what you intended, you didn't click the right box.
...just my opinions.
