More thoughts on "thermal fragmentation"...

This is for high effeciency recovery of precious metals (PMs). In the case of porphyry-related PMs, these tend to occur in the highest values as something like caps on very much larger base metals deposits (BM). Finding the gold (and/or silver, and/or PGMs) in this environment, then, increases the odds of finding the rich and long lived BM projects as can be found in other places such as SW Arizona, Utah, and long ago at Bisbee.
