Some 8-10 years ago, Marc Rich founded the massive global commodities trader, Glencore, in part to capitalize on a pending zinc shortage.

This was about the time I began hearing the shortage forecasts from Canadian exploration geologists and mine developers whow I knew on a personal basis, and with whom I invested. They bought two previously closed mines (one if Peru and another in Quebec), recondititioned them, and now both are ramping up to full production just in time for what may be dramatically improved fundamentals for zinc.

My point is, the commodity with the best fundamentals for investment at this time seems to be the most unglamorous of metals.

Got zinc? LBSR probably does, and I think in amounts to be the envy of most explorers, developers, and producers.
