Horquilla limestone - interesting picture of Bisbee geology

NR 200 tells us that we may be closer to the Horquilla than previously thought. The Horquilla limestone is part of the Naco group - note the location of the ore in the graphic.

It was previously thought that another layer overlay the Horquilla, the Colina limestone, but if the Earp limestone has been properly identified then there is no Colina layer to drill through.

Knowledge grows, things change, plans change.

All the work done, some of it recently, is beginning to add up to an interesting picture, sufficient to justify drilling a few shallow well placed holes. The new picture is congruent with the old picture. Now we can see the near surface phenomena and potential of shallow ore and the evidence of the granitic intrusion and potential of a deep ore body as part of a single pattern. Sure looks like somebody should take a look, i.e. drill.
