Hay Mountain Project Update - Native Plant Survey Requirement

As we have recently announced, Liberty Star is gearing up to begin the actual exploratory drilling for porphyry copper, gold, moly and other associated metals at its premiere property, Hay Mountain.
As part of the Arizona Department of Land’s (ASLD) rigorous permitting process, Liberty Star must employ an environmental consultant to conduct a Native Plant Survey (NPS) on Trust land included on the ten drill pads submitted to the ASLD.
The NPS will be an inventory of all native cacti, succulents, forbs and trees on each 60’x60’ drill pad site. The extremely detailed study includes a photo of “each site that represents the plant composition of the site and adjacent areas. Morphometric measurements, health, and salvage potential will be recorded for each plant. Shrubs and subshrubs will be identified in each drill site and an estimated number will be provided for each species.” [NPS Proposal, page 1]
Clearly, there is much work to be completed prior to getting core drills operating in January, 2016. We are doing our part to make the timeline. This is the last item for permitting our drill hole locations, and there should be no delays of the drilling due to permitting issues.
