Sure, that's always the case, but neither does it have to mean to end of the story, especailly on just one or two holes. Recovery could be only so long as it takes to get more core out of the ground and to the lab.

This aside, remember the likely "hole-in-one" at Big Chunk? That was truly a "blind" target at depth. In this case the mineralization is outcropping. BIG difference, and very much more suggestive of likely success than in Alaska.

In my mind, this is not a matter of whether or not mineralization will be encountered, but how much (while expecting increasing values to the bottoms of these shallow holes).
