I would expect some sort of whiplash maneuver, and cries of "abandon ship!" from the usual suspects.

(Me) And perfectly reasonable to do so - the possible reasons being quite valid. I can imagine a drill not turning until mid March, and you screaming like a stuck pig for 6 weeks because JB never disclosed the possible delays.
