Indeed, that was a fast moving story. The co-chairman/investor/promoter behind it, Robert Friedland, was able to gather the financial resources to very quickly have up to 14 rigs drilling 24/7. That's quite rare, and a major accomplishment for a remore area.

Friedland, by the way, I believe to be the most successful mining investor and promoter in history, though he does not have the early background or credentials that would suggest this of him. He is successful, I believe, because he is master at bringing attention to himself, like our "Sheriff Joe" here in Arizona, or that Trump guy.

This proves to my mind a minor theory accepted in theatre, politics (is there a difference?) and business that any attention is better than no attention.
