VP, I just wanted to comment a little on this excerpt of your post. Like KRM and Llvargas, and I'm sure others on this board, I'm relatively inexperienced in this sector, and definitely not a professional investor otherwise. With that in mind, I want to say that I appreciate the time you take to help educate us on the nuances of this sector. I have definitely learned that each sector requires specific knowledge to be a good investor. That knowledge includes technical and mindset information and expectations. You have been fantastic with that, and I thank you.

I would disagree with you a bit, however, on your bold and underlined statement below. I think it is fine for people to invest where there is little expertise, provided we understand the risks and can afford to lose that investment. This is the same rule for any kind of equity investment, not just this sector, really. Never put in more than you can afford to lose. Don't let desperation or elation have undue influence on that decision. So, while your opinion is a hard-line, "never", mine is that it is fine provided the conditions above are met.

"Yes, it is very important that those who have little understanding of stocks and the mining sector not ever put there money at risk in such issues, ever. Those that choose to do so anyway will always be around us, and we can either help them, or take advantage of them, or maliciously abuse them for their lack of experience."
