What are the benefits of private placement vs regular stock purchases to the investor? I know in the long run it benefits us all by allowing drilling to take place but what about solely to the investor? I've tried to research this on my own but everything I'm reading just reveals the (obvious) benefits to the company. Any input is appreciated.
