I saw that.  Typically, and in an open and active market, one can not buyer or sell shares outside of the bid/ask range.  So, yes, that deal was suspicious.  Brokers, however, have special circumstances rules that sometimes allow these things.  They can be "squaring" of positions, or other than "real time" reports (i.e., late).

Sometimes, too, "all or none" orders create what appear as strange trades.

These are always frustrating to see when they appear counter to one's open orders at any given moment. 

...not saying there was nothing shady in this instance, but the odds are against it.
