October 17, 2017 “I’m sorry say that John Guilbert died today about noon at Oro Valley Hospital, where he was admitted last night.  He had been failing for the past few months suffering from several maladies of old age, but he declined rapidly in the last few weeks.  He kept his positive attitude and optimistic outlook to the very end.   Last week, he even insisted on hosting our book discussion group this Thursday.  He loved the camaraderie and stimulation of a good discussion.  Please pass this on to John’s many other friends.  Details are pending.” ~Loring K.
