Each Telsa car uses nearly 60 lbs of cobalt (45 in batt, 14 in powerwall)
$25 - $30 lbs last 6 months up from $10 in 2015 - 2016
60 X $25 = $1500

point is that cobalt (123,000 tonnes/yr) and lithium (35,000 tonnes/yr)
are 2-3 times as abundant in the Earth's crust as lead (4m. tonnes/yr)
and about 10 times as abundant as tin (280,000 tonnes/yr).
With the abundants of cobalt still in the ground we can expect the price
point to drift down towards the ten year norms of $10. to $20. even as demand grows.

Brief description of Cobalt blue: It's a cobalt oxide-aluminum oxide.
A stable pigment of pure blue colour.
Is that what we saw in Alaska?
