Let me add that sometimes treading water should be taken as sell signal. How to respond depends on one's situation, and level of risk tolerance.
If one worries over every little thing, and/or gets overly exicited by every move of the stock, up or down, and/or swings in volume away from the averages, then they should probably not be holding this or any other stock.
Otherwise, and in my opinion, progress - however slight - can mitigate sell signals. Still, it's better to feel comfortable with one's choices than not.
I know this is a big "Duh!" to many readers, but a few here need to better understand this.
