If the people with the most knowledge of the situation are loaning money, they are not likely to be putting it into a situation they think is futile.

As for the other point, it has been pointed out on several occasions by VP that even if a deal is signed to fund a drilling operation, that does not necessarily or even likely translate into operating funds.  So, if that is true, then these loans don't mean that is the only means of funding available, but perhaps just that this is for keeping the lights on independent of whatever else already has happened or could be in the pipeline.

Bottom line:  I see this is a positive thing.
