All of your recent critique are IMO valid. I have had the same impression.
I have at times thought through 'the other' position, or the Devil's advocate viewpoint:
If one takes the past several announcements AT FACE VALUE, they can be interpreted as a series of actions logical in progression and intent toward a more complete or more advanced state of being or putting together of the puzzle. In particular, an additional board member having the attributes described COULD have a significant impact on the marketing/sales effort.
Of course the rub with that point of view is that past performance often DOES indicate future results.
