There is absolutely no reason to expect a reverse split on this stock before there is material support for a strongly advancing share price. Traditional financiers and bankers ask for a reverse split on the mistaken belief that stock prices react favorably with fewer outstanding shares. More significantly, they do not participate in financings at the paltry levels of our needs.
I agree that a reverse split is very likely to be in our future (if we survive to that point), but that would most likely happen only following news related to discovery. At that point, the overall value of the company - total capitalization - will be starting on a long and rising path, meaning that even as many of us will be holding fewer shares, they will be worth more.
On the other hand, should our CEO make a move to execute a reverse split before discovery (for whatever reason), I agree that that would become a complete disaster, something to be avoided at all cost.
