What better time for those who may be ethically "flexible" to initiate activities that sow fear, uncertainty and doubt, were they intent on accumulating a more sizeable interest in something about which they have insider knowledge?  They 'could', when their Pie-Hole got full, have a change of heart and remove the FUD in very short order.
