Good question about the Class A Shares. Since it is restricted to the BOD- it gives them vastly more voting power- which might be justified as a means to ward off some kind of outside hostile takeover. But since it sets up the BOD as apart from the rest of the shareholders- what it really constitutes is a power grab that solidifies power in the hands of none other than Mr. B(i)G. It makes it easier to fend off internal challenges from other shareholders. Feeling threatened, maybe?
