I'm afraid I have to at least partially agree with our good friend Mr. B(i)G/NU. Not the "we have strategic and defensive thinkers who actually care about shareholders and the PPS."- part, but the "they're on the same page"- part.
I think there was some hope on the part of some that PH would provide some kind of counterbalance to BG. But the fact that they were issued the exact same number of shares at the exact same time suggests to me that this was a carefully coordinated move between the two. Together- in addition to regular share/votes they already have- they now control 50,000,000 x 200 = 10 billion votes- if my math is correct. And so no matter how many shares anyone else has-since there are (only) about 4-5 billion authorized or outstanding shares- I forget which- but for this calculation it doesn't matter- by a vast- 2 to 1- margin, they basically control everything. Have I calculated all that correctly? If so, they have, indeed, put themselves solidly in charge- at least from a shareholder voting standpoint. Challanges would now probably need to be legal in nature.
