And Tracy-
Yet another question comes to mind. It has been said by some ill informed that prior exploration at the Carlin Gold Site was unproductive. That is not so. The results were ignored and never followed up upon by Phelps Dodge, but shallow, nearly horizontal drilling actually intercepted extraordinary concentrations of Gold approaching 1 oz/ton. It is my understanding that the company has in its possession historical records formerly held by James Briscoe. Unfortunately, possibly now in poor unorganized condition. These records likely show the location of those early drill sites.
My question is- does the company know the location of those drill sites? Have those records been at least put to good use and been searched? Are those sites being redrilled? Time and money would be saved by starting at those locations.
Thanks again.
