You raise valid points. As another poster has remarked to me, these "Shenanigans" may very well provide a psychological profile of the person(s) making them happen - shallow, vindictive, opportunistic, ethically 'economical' . . . .
If the thesis is valid, we are witnessing a waste of time and effort in pursuit of apparently juvenile or nefarious goals.
OTOH, it has ocurred to me that there may be those who wish to Jettison as many 'inconvenient' shareholders as possible. "Tin Foil Hat"? perhaps, pehaps not. What better way to do it than induce frustration and disgust during a long flatline?
