"Maybe just maybe we do not have the goods."- GOLD MAN
Wait! What? Did you really say that? That may be a position to take. In fact, it is precisely the position of the bashers over on iHub. But why in God's name would you be invested in the Company if that's what you believe?
The other funny thing is- you subsequently whine that- [does]"Showing other companies making deals and LBSR not, makes us better off? [does]Complaining about the lack of effort of BG makes us better off?"
And then- you go and question the very underlying worth of the company.
It is true that I and others are dissatisfied with management's sloth and stupidity. But criticizing the job management is doing is very different from attacking the very basis and worth of the company. That is the kind of criticism usually heard from the likes of the adynamic duo- M&G on the other board, who consider Liberty Star little more than a worthless scam. In fact, caring about and believing in the intrinsic worth of "what we have in the ground", maybe even a little too much- is what makes this management's ineptitude so frustrating to me and others.
You know- it was frustrating, even during JB's tenure, when drilling wasn't started. But it should be remembered that he mainly sheperded us through the longer than expected, arduous permitting process and that we weren't even fully permitted for drilling during most of that period. When BG became CEO, his raison d'etre- really- his only justification for becoming CEO, was that he was supposedly the effective and experienced businessman/lawyer that JB was supposedly not. He was not to become CEO because of his geological knowledge or training- because he apparently had none. It was not because of his exploratory genious. Far from it. It was for one and one reason only- to get a deal and funds for drilling. And in this- he has failed miserably. The Company has not failed- he and his sad cronies have failed.
And to me, this is particuarly unacceptable. Because, unlike you- I and other shareholders like myself- believe that "we do have the goods".
